Transparency and safeguarding
Trust grows when care is clear.
Our public commitments for protecting people, respecting donations and showing how support becomes practical help.
Our responsibility
Good intentions need careful practice.
Lifeshare works with children, families, volunteers, donors and community partners. That trust asks us to listen carefully, protect private information and communicate honestly about what we can deliver.
This page describes the standard we are building into the website and the daily work of the foundation. Where formal reports, policies or registration documents are prepared for public release, they will be added here rather than implied before they are ready.
Protect children and families
We avoid publishing private details that could expose a child, family or vulnerable person to harm. Concerns and referrals should begin with the minimum information needed for the team to respond.
Use stories and images with care
Programme photographs and personal stories should be reviewed before publication, with appropriate permission and particular care whenever children or vulnerable people can be identified.
Record what was delivered
Campaign records should explain the need, the support received, what reached the community and the practical outcome. We are building this evidence into every campaign and field story.
Respect the purpose of a gift
When a donor identifies a particular programme, the team confirms whether that purpose can be honoured before accepting or allocating a substantial contribution.
Work through trusted relationships
Community referrals, volunteers and partners help Lifeshare understand local needs. Support is planned with people, not simply delivered around them.
Share confirmed information
Dates, quantities, beneficiary numbers and partner names should be published only when they have been confirmed. Plans still taking shape are described honestly as such.
Evidence in progress
What we will publish as the record grows.
Dates, locations, confirmed needs, photographs and outcomes from completed and active work.
Plain-language guidance for volunteers, partners, photography and reporting a concern.
Registration, governance and appropriate programme or financial reports when approved for public release.
